What is Renuva®?

How is the procedure performed?

Dr. Khan will determine if Renuva® is best for you based upon your problem areas and desires. If you are a candidate for Renuva®, Dr. Khan will mark out the areas needing volume. Topical anesthetic and/or injectable local anesthetic may be administered prior to treatment. The treatment sites will be cleansed and the Renuva® will be injected into the treatment areas using fine cannulas and/or needles.  The area of injection is usually massaged afterwards to allow the Renuva® to evenly disperse.

What to expect after undergoing Renuva® treatment?

To help reduce post-treatment swelling, you will be told to apply ice to the treated area. You may still experience some bruising and swelling in the treated areas but this should rapidly improve. Since your body will be making it’s own fat in response to the Renuva®, expect to see results in ~3 months.
