Skin Resurfacing with Venus Versa

What is it?
Created by the Venus Concept group, the Venus Versa™ can be customized to provide single or multiple treatments, including photorejuvenation/photofacial, skin resurfacing, skin tightening, acne treatment and wrinkle reduction. It offers three unique technologies, including Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with SmartPulse™, NanoFractional Radio Frequency with SmartScan™, and (MP)2 technology (Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields). These technologies can be combined together, in one setting, to provide the exclusive TriBella™ treatment.
Known as comprehensive aesthetic facial therapy, TriBella™ simultaneously enhances tone (by correcting pigmentation), texture and skin tightness. It’s a powerful therapy that results in younger, smoother looking skin in the most efficient way possible!
How is the procedure performed?
Dr. Khan will determine which areas of your face, neck or body may benefit from any one of the several treatments offered by Venus Versa™. Once determined, a gliding gel and/or numbing cream will be applied to the areas needing treatment, depending upon the treatments chosen for you. The handheld probe(s) will then be passed over these areas in smooth and consistent movements for approximately 15-30 minutes. For maximal correction, Dr. Khan recommends 3-8 sessions (depending upon the treatments chosen), spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
Please note, the TriBella™ treatment will last ~1-1.5 hours and involve 3 separate handpieces.
What to expect after undergoing treatment with Venus Versa™?
Most patients report feeling relaxed while undergoing treatment with Venus Versa™. In fact, patients have reported falling asleep during these treatments! You may experience some redness and warmth immediately after treatment but this should resolve within a couple of hours. You may also notice skin improvement after just one session but for maximal correction, 3-8 sessions are typically needed.
